(Micro Sash Rant) "Creative" AI.

My Generative AI policy.

I put "Micro" in the title because it helps me commit to writing it, yes, ADHD is that brutal. Anyway I wanna keep this concise because I want to do other things this morning, that do not include typing about things I dislike.

Okay here it is: I despise so-called "Creative AI" and how it's being force-fed into the mouths of EVERYTHING on the internet, diluting the "waters" with low-effort AI slop garbage and plagurising real human content creators/artists as it absorbs their hoenst works into its cold, heartless and souless models for infinite re-use after some tool types "make this" into a prompt text box.

I feel this is the start of a creative and artistic decline of the human species, which is incredibly sad because art is (was?) the only thing that makes use unique, truly, from random noise in the universe.

Wix even has an option to have AI write blog posts for you. This is especially disgusting because it stinks of a low-effort, heartless way of generating clicks and revenue without caring about the content. No, AI-generated posts do not have soul. Unless the damn thing was typed by a human being (an angry one, in this case) it does not have soul. AI-generated blogging defeats the entire point of blogging.

Anyway, that'll do for this. As always I commit fully and wholly to my "no primary content with AI" policy on my website. Even if my works are made to look like the scribblings of a toddler in comparison with AI generated shit; at least those scribblings have soul.
