Space Vessels in use by the Aquarian Terran Imperial States

(Capital) OP-PA 'Gesturum' type Planetary Assault Ship

(Capital) OP-PA 'Gesturum' type Planetary Assault Ship

A mobile Orbital Platform developed by the Imperial Star ship Design Bureau (ISDB) in 4428 A.D and built at the Aquarian Imperial Naval Shipyards for the Imperial Planetary Forces and specialist divisions of the Imperial Marine Corps. Gesturum-type vessels serve as the primary direct landing ships for planetary assault in the Imperial Military, being able to transport, deploy and support up to 20,000 IPF soldiers and more than 1000 armoured vehicles including heavy MBTs for extended planetary surface campaigns.

(Installation) Arctic-class Naval Platform

(Installation) Arctic-class Naval Platform

A post-fall Deep Space (independent of parent body) capable military installation developed originally by the UAS for Fleet Logistics and Resupply in remote sectors. Like almost all Post-fall installations, this platform is constructed using a highly modular, compartmentalised manufacturing process whereby utility "blocks" are re-purposed after initial construction for specific roles and assembled as necessary according to a pre-fabricated design schematic. As such, not all platforms designated under the Arctic (AT) classification are identical in layout. The Platform's role remains the same in service under the ATIS flag.

(Installation) Hercules MKII-class Mobile Jump Drive Array

(Installation) Hercules MKII-class Mobile Jump Drive Array

One of the largest mobile space-faring structures currently seen in Aquarius, the Hercules MKII-class Mobile Subspace Gate (Jump Drive Array) entered service during the transition to the Imperial Era. The Subspace Gate network linking most systems in Aquarius is facilitated by these semi-static installations. Each Gate contains a massive powerplant capable of providing the immense energy required to create a tear in the fabric of space, allowing essentially any vessel to transit vast distances in the order of hundreds of parsecs, without requiring its own Jump Drive Array.

(Retired)(Cruiser) Thunderhead-class Heavy Cruiser

(Retired)(Cruiser) Thunderhead-class Heavy Cruiser

A Heavy Cruiser developed by the ATIS Imperial Navy as a cruiser strike group leader. Thunderhead-class warships possess powerful forward-facing armaments and defences and emphasise direct-assault operations against developing threats. Thunderhead-class has been phased out of active service by 4500 A.D

(Retired)(Capital) ED-class Battlecruiser

(Retired)(Capital) ED-class Battlecruiser

A heavy warship in service with the ATIS Imperial Navy. ED-class Battlecruisers are based on the legendary 'Endeavour' hull designs dating back nearly a thousand cycles. The current iteration is essentially an upgraded Pattern 6 (S6) ED-AX, which itself is based on the highly successful Pattern 5A (S5A) which originally entered service with the UTN Federal Navy in 4003 A.D.

(Retired) (Cruiser ) SP2 (Pattern-2) Light Cruiser / Destroyer

(Retired) (Cruiser ) SP2 (Pattern-2) Light Cruiser / Destroyer

Upgrade package for the SP-class Escort vessel. The SP2 emphasis accuracy of main armament, advanced sensors to target fast-moving interlopers attempting to break Cruiser or Capital Ship lines and hugely improved mobility. SP2-patterns have mostly been phased out in favour of the more modern SP3.

(Retired)(Cruiser) SP-class

(Retired)(Cruiser) SP-class

SP-class destroyers were built for CQC-range combat with hostile warships, primarily in a defensive role as a fleet escort. The warship has a low mass and extremely powerful manoeuvring thrusters, along with heavy armaments. This class has been entirely retired in service with the AIN.
