(Sash Cries) I met a new friend playing War Thunder and tried a voice call but...

My anxiety isn't having any of that. Nuh uh, can't possibly meet new friends and talk to them with my vocal chords, or even listen on the call for longer than 5 minutes without having a meltdown. The pure dread that builds up inside me from, even passively, participating in a voice-based communication exchange is nearly unbearable.



To my new friend: it's not personal. It's me. My brain has decided that talking to other human beings is a threat to my very existence, regardless of logic. Can't really blame it though.


Cue tiny violin, blah blah blah. I was kinda hoping this post would help prove to my new friend I'm not just being rude, because that is 80% of the driving force behind the anxiety.

It's that time of year again.

And yet again I feel so depressed I want to die. Shame I'm such a coward and can't go through with it. So life goes on. For now.
